Remembering the Mighty Ivanovic in Indian Wells

To cope up with my frustration with (my beloved) Ana Ivanovic’s early loss at Miami, I decided to watch her some impressive matches at Indian Wells.

I hapened to see her QF clash with Dementieva in 2006 and wow, impressive forehands by those two. Ivanovic seems not to like final deciding set as she was bomb down 0-5 by the Russian.

In Indian Wells this year, Ivanovic’s excellent match for me was her fourth round with Flavia Penetta. These two women both have great records in clay courts that’s why; they seem to read each other’s behaviors and strategies during their clash in the concrete.

The score tells it all— 6-4, 4-6, 6-4!
